Shouldn't I Be Able To Do This Myself?
Somewhere along the way many of us developed thoughts and beliefs that we should be able to fix everything in our own lives ourselves. Even although our own experience often shows us that we can’t fix everything, part of us (our ego) wants to keep clinging onto this very flawed belief.
The reason our ego wants to hold onto it, is because it doesn’t like to admit that we can’t do something. Our ego thinks admitting this makes us weak and vulnerable. Nothing could be further from the truth! It’s time to let go of this belief. It doesn’t serve you – it keeps you trapped.
Let me ask you a couple of questions?
- Would you think twice about putting your car in to the garage if it wasn’t working properly? You certainly wouldn’t try to fix it yourself because you know you don’t know enough about it to be able to fix them.
- If your child was ill would you just hope that things got better? I don’t think you would – you would book an appointment to see a doctor, because your child’s health and wellbeing matters, and you want to KNOW that a specialist is looking after them.
YOU deserve the same care and attention as your car, or your child. Your health, wellbeing and happiness matters more than anything else, so get some professional help!

Usually we will meet at Happiness HQ in Glasgow City Centre! I prefer to meet in person as it’s the best experience for you.
